RCR Board of Directors:
Ed Tushar (President)
Ed Tushar graduated with a BS in Physics from the
College of St.
Thomas in 1974 and received an MS in Computer
Science from Washington
University in 1986. Mr. Tushar has over 30 years
experience in computer programming and software
engineering. He currently works at
GeoEye, Inc. as
a Sr. Geodetic Software Engineer. Mr. Tushar has
served as a mentor of the River City Robots high
school robotics organization since 2006.
DeAnna Cottrell (Vice
- President)
DeAnna Cottrell
attended St. Louis Community College, studying
Information Technology. She has over 15 years of IT
experience and is currently employed as a Business
Support Technician at
Suddenlink
Communications.
She has been a mentor to the Channel Cats
since 2005 and has mentored several Lego League
teams.
Ralph Lambert
(Treasurer)
Ralph Lambert graduated in 1969 from
Purdue
University with a BS and MS in Electrical
Engineering with an emphasis in automatic controls.
Mr. Lambert retired from
McDonnell Douglas/Boeing
as a Chief Engineer after 30 years of work on
fighter aircraft flight controls and mission systems
avionics. Mr. Lambert currently volunteers at St.
Paul grade school as an eighth grade Honors Science
teacher, school-wide technology systems coordinator,
robotics club sponsor and chess club sponsor. He has
served as the chief technical mentor of the River
City Robots high school robotics organization since
2002.
Craig Cottrell (Secretary)
Graduated from
Ranken
Technical College with a certificate in Computer Technologies. Has
28
years of work experience in maintenance, electrical, PLC programming and
robotics. Mr. Cottrell is currently the Maintenance Manager at Graham
Packaging, a plastic blow molding manufacturer
in St. Louis where he has been for over 25 years. He also 30
years of extensive experience working with personal computers
LeAnn Heumphreus -
(Committee Chair)
Ms. Heumphreus holds a B.S. from
Fontbonne University in Mathematics & Computer Science with an
emphasis in Business. She has over 15 years experience in computer
programming, analysis and data modeling. She is an active member of
PEO, a fraternal organization dedicated to promoting the education
of women world-wide. She currently mentors FIRST Robotics Competition
Team 1094 in Special Awards, Team Building and Spirit.
